YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE STUPID BUT IT HELPS
It certainly helps. Take a look over your shoulder too many times, and you may end up getting whacked just because you look chickenshit.
Think about it too much and you will stand out in the crowd for all the wrong reasons. Like you have a target painted on your ass, ya big palooka!
IT CAN BE DONE
On starting the game, this is where you want to go.
You should do as many crimes and car nicks as you can, as they give you money, rank progress (RP) and cars. Bear in mind that crime can be tiring and so after you have done one, you need to rest before doing it again.
You need to wait around 90 seconds to attempt another crime and around 300 seconds before you can try to steal a car again.
In the meantime, find something else to do. There's plenty out there.
GET OTHERS TO HELP!
An organized crime requires four participants: leader, weapon expert, explosive expert and a driver.
Each person has their own part to play in the crime and participants must be in the same city for the crime to be possible.
The leader makes sure there is a safe house to hide in and splits up the money, the weapon expert brings the guns and the bullets, the explosives expert will make sure the safe will be blown up and the driver makes sure you can return to the safe house.
Calculations for the split are done ingame for the leader and automatically include the cost of any items the participants put in.
The leader can click "Make Transfer" without the need to use a calculator or even go to his bank.
The better the ranks that are involved in the organized crime and the more money invested by everyone the higher the potential profits.
GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE...
Killing a gangster is not always an easy task.. Even before you start you have to hire detectives to search for them.
Once you have found your prey the maximum amount of bullets that you can shoot is defined by your rank. But be careful, they might have backfire on, where your victim can shoot back twice as hard as you did, as long as they have enough bullets.
When you kill someone, you will receive all of their pocket money.
IF A JOB'S WORTH DOING IT'S WORTH PAYING SOMEONE TO DO IT FOR YOU
Lackeys are your personal servants who perform several ranking tasks for you. You hire them with credits.
Before hiring a Lackey you need to have some credits. You can purchase credits either via Support Omerta page or from Obay with game money. You will then be sent a Donation Code.
When you have your Donation Code, you need to activate it on the Lackeys page. It will give you 5000 credits that you can use between the following lackeys:
Spats (Crimes Lackey) who's job is to do petty crimes you think you are too good to be doing yourself. Cost of his service is 1 credit per action.
Noodles (Cars Lackey) who's job is to break into cars. Cost of his service is 1 credit per action.
O'Rourke (Booze Lackey) who's job is to always find the cheapest place to get your booze stock. Cost of his service is 2 credits per action.
Freekowtski (Drugs Lackey) who's job is to always find the cheapest place to get your drugs stock. Cost of his service is 2 credits per action.
Keaton (Bustouts Lackeys) whos job is to break your other Lackeys out of the jail. Cost of his service is 1 credit per action.
Sluggs (Bullets Lackey) who's job is to load you with nice heavy metal they call bullets. Cost of his service is 5 credits per action.
LIKE A PHOENIX FROM THE FLAME
Now that you have learned how to kill other gangsters, it's time to see what happens when you die. Every account that dies can be reborn and our rebirth system is based on milestones - items from your dead account that you can redeem/collect: money, bullets, kills, rank progress, bustouts.
When you die, you are sent to a page to create your new character. Here you are offered 10 initial milestones and you can decide where you want to apply them.
Later on, throughout the game, by reaching more milestones you get a chance to recover all of the lost items from your previous account.
